Osun State Chambers of Commerce Industry, Mines & Agriculture (OSUCCIMA) was established in 1991. It is the umbrella body of all organized Private Sector (OPS) in Osun State. The Chamber represents the opinion of the business community in Osun State and the leading voice of the Organized Private Sectors through sustainability of public policy, advocacy and stakeholder’s engagement and trade promotions.

Objectives:

  1. Expose the abundant economic, natural and human resources in Osun State and the world at large with the aim of attracting Physical, Social and Economic development to Osun State.
  2. Accelerate the promotion of goods and services in all cities within Osun state through staging of well-focused Trade Fairs, Workshops, Conferences and making business visits.
  3. Work in concert with City Chambers, Local Governments, Osun State Government and the Federal Government of Nigeria for the promotion and development of the economy
  4. Work assiduously with the ODU’A Chambers Of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture(ODUACCIMA),the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Bilateral Chambers of Commerce in Nigeria and any other Association in the world for the advancement of the Chamber of Commerce activities.
  5. Collaborate with and reinforce efforts of other similar organizations such as Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), National Association of Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (NASME), National Association of Women in Business (NAWIB), All Farmers Association  of Nigeria (AFAN) etc.
  6. Bring Business Men and Women, Professionals, Industrialists, Miners and Agriculturists that is keen in the development of their businesses together in Osun State.
  7. Promote the development of programmes and activities designed to facilitate Women and Youth participation in entrepreneurship, commerce and governance.
  8. Purchase, take, exchange, hire or otherwise acquire and own any property; Real or personal rights or privileges, which may be necessary or convenient for any of the purpose of the Association.
  9. Sell, improve, manage, lease, mortgage, construct, alter, maintain, dispose off, turn to account or otherwise deal in property(s) for the benefit of the Association.
  10. Invest the monies of the Association not immediately required in securities or any other investment on such terms or otherwise in such manner as may be determined by the Association.
  11. Borrow any money required for the purpose of the Association on such terms as may be determined by the Association.
  12. Employ such personnel upon terms as to remuneration, provision for retirement and otherwise, as may be necessary or convenient for any of the aforesaid objects.
  13. Collaborate with other Local, National and International donor and development agencies in delivery of our set objectives.
  14. Promote and support public policies, legislations and executive measures for enhancing the growth of commercial, industrial, and other economic activities throughout Nigeria.
  15. Support any Legal entity, Body or Group having objects similar to objects of the Chamber and or engaged in business development, economic activities and to encourage and support any society, Chamber or group for the promotion of Enterprise, Commerce, Trade, and other Economic activities.
  16. Educate, train members and non-members on any of the process that advances entrepreneurial excellence towards improved commercial and industrial growth.
  17. Do all such other lawful things as may be considered to be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
  18. Bring Members of City Chambers together to establish a strong organized private sector in Osun State.

  • Provide link between members and relevant international agencies for economic enhancement.
  • Provides a platform for which members can access relevant business information, investment networking opportunities, trade mission participation and to facilitate imports and exports opportunities.
  • Facilities members’ participation in Local and International Trade Fair and Business Exhibitions.
