MINING TRADE GROUP
The Mining Trade Group was established to ensure the existence of a strong and viable Mining trade group within the Chamber Movement in Osun State
The Other activities of the group include:
- To prepare memoranda and other position papers that may be required by the Association from time to time on the sector for presentation to the Government and other agencies
- To identify and create awareness on areas that may be profitable to OSUCCIMA and its members.
- Identify and collaborate with major stakeholders in the sector towards improvement in the activities of the Sector in Osun State
- To propose advocacy issues/initiatives relating to the sector to the leadership of OSUCCIMA
- To sensitize and provide useful information relating to the mines sector as deemed fit.
- To organize seminars/workshops on mining and other related matters.

AGRICULTURAL TRADE GROUP
The Trade Group was created for the purpose of creating a network of operators within the Agriculture Sector in Osun State and enable them discuss challenges and opportunities in the sector while also liaising with relevant Government Agencies and Developmental Organizations in policies formulation and other areas of interest.
The other activities of the group include:
- To prepare memoranda and other position papers that may be required by the Association from time to time on Agric sector for presentation to the Government and other agencies
- To identify and create awareness on areas of agriculture and agribusiness that may be profitable to OSUCCIMA and its members.
- To propose advocacy issues/initiatives relating to Agriculture and agribusiness to the leadership of OSUCCIMA
- Identify and collaborate with major stakeholders in the sector towards improvement in the activities of the Sector in Osun State
- To sensitize and provide useful information relating to the agric sector as deemed fit.
- To identify and document the contact information of all major farmers and organized agric farmer associations in the State.
- To organize seminars/workshops on agric and other related matters.

The reason behind the creation of Small and Medium Industries and Technology is to bring all the industrial operators together to generate ideas on how to advance the relevance of Small and Medium Industries and Technology in the economic development of Osun State. Advise council on economic policy issues which impact on the business interest of members and the general investment environment. Make recommendations to the council on policy advocacy and strategies on economic and business policy matters
The other activities of the group include:
- To prepare memoranda and other position papers that may be required by the Association from time to time on small and medium industries and technology sector for presentation to the Government and other agencies
- To strategize on the best method by which members can take full advantage of opportunities available in the export window, while also advocating for a conducive environment for exporters/Small and Medium Industries in Osun State
- To identify and document the contact information of all genuine small and medium industriesand technology sector entrepreneurs in the State.
- To identify and create awareness on areas of trades, information technology, manufacturing, business law, and entrepreneurship that may be profitable to OSUCCIMA and its members.
- To propose advocacy issues/initiatives relating to Agriculture and agribusiness to the leadership of OSUCCIMA
- Identify and collaborate with major stakeholders in the sector towards improvement in the activities of the Sector in Osun State
- To proffer useful suggestions on how to improve on the ICT industry in Osun State
- To chart possible ways for members to grow their businesses through the use of ICT

This group was established to bring the operators in the Hospitality, Entertainment and Tourism Industry sector together to promote the industry in in Osun State while developing strategies by which the sector in the State could be developed.
The other activities of the group include:
- To prepare memoranda and other position papers that may be required by the Association from time to time on Hospitality, Entertainment and Tourism Industry sector for presentation to the Osun Government and other agencies
- To strategize on the best method by which members can take full advantage of opportunities in the sector, while also advocating for a conducive environment for the operators in Osun State
- To identify and document the contact information of all operators in the State.
- To identify and document all tourist centres including the major annual festivals in Osun State
- Identify and collaborate with major stakeholders in the sector towards improvement in the activities of the Sector in Osun State
- To identify and create awareness on areas of Hospitality, Entertainment and Tourism Industry sector that may be profitable to OSUCCIMA and its members.
- To propose advocacy issues/initiatives relating to Hospitality, Entertainment and Tourism Industry sector to the leadership of OSUCCIMA

DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE
The Disciplinary Committee is established to:
- receive petitions or complaints against members/and officers.
- ensure compliance with and where appropriate enforce the provisions of the code of conduct, the memorandum/articles and bye-law of the association for the time being in force.
- examine all petitions and recommend to the Council disciplinary measures or sanctions to be imposed on erring members PROVIDED always that the right of a defaulting member to be notified in writing of allegations made against him and the right to be heard in his defense is preserved and guaranteed.
- generally exercise disciplinary control over members and officers.
- do such other things as may be conferred on it by Council and or the Association.
The Disciplinary Committee shall comprise of the following members with representations from members (City Chambers) to be appointed by the council:
- A Chairman who shall not be an Executive member.
- Six (6) other members each of whom must be persons of unquestionable integrity appointed for a term of one year by the Council on the recommendation of the Executive Committee and subject to reappointment for another one year term.

FINANCE AND OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE
The Finance and Oversight Committee will be established to primarily provide short- and long-term financial oversight for OSUCCIMA. The key responsibilities are to
- advice the Executives Committee at the policy level on all matters relating to Chamber’s Finance, Keeping abreast with the Treasury and funds of the Chamber wherever domiciled
- approve the Executive Committee in Personal Matters of the Secretariat
- monitor the implementation of the various reform and developments approved by the council.
- examine, comment and recommend actions in respect of all financial reports and presentations by the Director General as well as by External Bodies on the Chamber’s finance.
- provide internal control system for DUE PROCESS and rectify all matters requiring attention as may be referred to as the Committee.

TRADE PROMOTION COMMITTEE
The group was established to promote Osun products and services through exhibition and fair which allow organizations/manufacturers to showcase and demonstrate their variety of products and services and explore recent market trends and opportunities
The key responsibilities of the Committee are
- provide general policy guidelines for Trade Fair and Exhibitions organized by OSUCCIMA
- identify suitable partners in public and private for collaboration and for successful trade fairs and exhibitions
- organize fairs and exhibitions that are of the highest standards, and profitable to the OSUCCIMA
- advise Executive Committee on polices and measures to ensure that the fairs and Exhibitors are of the highest standards, and not run at loss to the Chamber.
- advice the Executive on the strategies for the realization of the chamber’s vision
- Compile the list of local and national fairs and exhibitions for the use of members

INVESTITURE/AWARD COMMITTEE
Term of Reference
The Committee was established as an ad hoc Committee to plan and organize a befitting investiture ceremony of 3rd administration of Executive Committee of OSUCCIMA, and should serve as a platform to recognize and appreciate our leaders for their selfless services to Chamber Movement in Osun State/Nigeria, and to recognize and appreciate performing business owners/entrepreneurs and other organizations in Osun State. Above all, the event should serve as public image of OSUCCIMA
The key responsibilities of the Committee are:
- organize a world-class and profitable investiture ceremony for the 3rd administration of executive committee of OSUCCIMA on or before the end of June 2023.
- Use the platform to educate the participants and guests on any germane topic of interest to Osun State/Nigeria economic development, and issue a communiqué to the effect
- identify and recommend individuals/leaders for AWARD OF EXCELLENCE/LIFE TIME ACHIEVEMNT AWARD for their selfless service to OSUNCIMA and Chamber movement in Osun State/Nigeria
- identify and recommend individual business owners/entrepreneurs for AWARD OF EXCELLENCE for their consistency in excellent contribution to the economic development of Osun State through Trade, Industry, Mines and Agriculture.

CONSTITUTION REVIEW COMMITTEE
A total review of the constitution is imperative as more members are joining and the need to make it less ambiguous for members to understand. The Committee is expected to request memos from each city chamber on any sections of the constitution including the logo of the association that require a review
In view of this, an ad hoc committee was established to review the constitution of OSUCCIMA within the period of 3 months of establishment.

Term of Reference
The Membership and Welfare Committee was established to
- Consider and recommend new members for admission into the membership of the Chamber.
- Advise council on strategies for ensuring the retention of current members.
- Encourage payment of ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS by members and recommend the necessary sanctions within the chambers constitution for default subscriptions.
- Monitor policy implementation on service to members.
- Responsible for the general welfare of members at meetings and other events of the Chamber.
- Provide logistics support for meetings, and other events of the Chamber.
